Hi there, and welcome! I’m so excited to finally kick off this blog and share a little piece of my world with you. If you love MM romance books, whether it’s reading them, writing them, or discovering new favorites, you’re in the right place.
Let me start by telling you what you can expect here. This blog is going to be all about celebrating MM romance—the books, the authors, and the stories that make this genre so special. I’ll be sharing:
- A peek into my author life: Expect updates on my works-in-progress (WIPs), behind-the-scenes snippets, and maybe even a few teasers from upcoming projects.
- My favorite MM reads: I’ll highlight the books I can’t stop raving about and share my current recommendations with you.
- Monthly reading challenges: Fun prompts to help you discover new reads and revisit old favorites.
- Guest features: I’ll invite some of my amazing author friends to share their stories and books with us.
You’ll hear from me 1-3 times a week, depending on how much caffeine I’ve had and how often inspiration strikes. My goal is to keep things fun, meaningful, and interactive, so I hope you’ll join in the conversation too.
To kick things off, here are 5 fun facts about me:
1. I’m a sucker for a good grumpy/sunshine romance. The more brooding and stoic one of the characters is, the more I’m hooked.
2. The first MM romance I ever read was Dirty Love by Bethany Winters, and it completely hooked me on the genre.
3. I’m always up for a hockey romance. Whether it’s teammates falling in love or a coach/player dynamic, it’s my go-to trope.
4. I’m a proud night owl. Most of my writing happens after the world goes quiet and I’m armed with snacks and an endless playlist of moody songs.
5. I believe the best books are the ones that make you laugh, cry, and swoon all at once. If a story does all three, it’s an instant favorite.
Now it’s your turn! I’d love to hear from you. What topics would you like me to cover in future posts? Whether it’s writing advice, book recommendations, or deep dives into specific tropes, I’m all ears. Drop a comment below and let me know—and don’t forget to introduce yourself too!
Thanks for stopping by, and I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
Until next time,
Denver
